Our company, Vallflorida, was founded in 1983, to offer a different quality product. A classic pastry with a modern twist: Throughout the years we have been redefining our identity, and now the pastry is characterized by developing cutting-edge products, with chocolate as the most representative ingredient of our pastry.
Since the incorporation of the two sons, Gerard and Lluís, we have developed new sales lines at the store and opening the way for the sale of chocolate products able to satisfy the most demanding palates of the country.
Born in a family of pastry chefs, he grew up among flour, chocolate and creams. At 16 he began working in the family business Vallflorida | Xocolaters. While studying at the School of Pastry of Barcelona, where he had the opportunity to learn from great leaders of the world of pastry, such as the master Luis Morera (Chocolates Brescó de Benabarre) or Carles Mampel (Pastelerías Bubo), with whom he participated as assistant in the winner team of the 2011 pastry world cup.
